Amanda Kost, CSCC, CPCFT has been involved with dogs her whole life.... Growing up with Miniature Schnauzers and dreaming of Giant Schnauzers, she added both to her 'dog' life. Wanting to have the BEST trained family friend, Mandy began extensive training in the areas of obedience, rally obedience, agility, SAR, tracking and therapy dog certification. She has trialed her giants to many titles! Believing in the AKC family dog program, she became an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluator, AKC FIT dog instructor, AKC Fetch Evaluator and AKC Temperament Test evaluator. Additionally, seeing the ever present need for Therapy Dogs, Amanda certified and titled three of her giant schnauzers as Therapy Dogs. She became a Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dog evaluator to help other handler teams achieve this very rewarding certification. Her latest achievement was to have completed both the Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach and the Certified Professional Canine Fitness Trainer programs. These programs have brought versatility to the classes she is offering!
